Stanford. Bryce Love. 23. player. 54. . Running Back

The Philadelphia Eagles won their season opener in front of their home crowd in Week 1, and had to knock off the Atlanta Falcons to do so. The Eagles looked good on both sides of the ball in that win, but they struggled mightily against Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first road game this past weekend, and now find themselves sitting at 1-1 through the first two weeks.

That is no big deal, because they are getting their quarterback back this weekend, as Carson Wentz will start against the Indianapolis Colts inside Lincoln Financial. Wentz should give this offense the boost it needs after a sub-par performance against Tampa Bay, as they look to continue their Super Bowl title defense.

In Wentz, the Eagles have one of the best quarterbacks in all of football, and getting him back should breathe live into the entire roster. When it comes time for the Eagles to draft in the first round next April, they will be picking late in round one, and they should look to bring in a running back with the pick

The best running back in this draft class, and in college football, is Stanford’s Bryce Love, who is going to be a fantastic player at the next level. His 2018 season has not started out great, but he is a guy who can help in so many ways, and on this Eagles team, he would instantly replace the role currently occupied by the aging Darren Sproles.
