Defensive Lineman. Alabama. Raekwon Davis. 24. player. 60.

The Minnesota Vikings have one of the best rosters in all of football, but it was their third round pick from the 2018 NFL Draft that really did them in this past weekend. Daniel Carlson missed three field goals during the Vikings 29-29 tie with the Green Bay Packers, a game they could have taken in front of the Packers faithful inside Lambeau Field.

Minnesota went out and got their quarterback this past offseason, inking Kirk Cousins to a long-term deal. He is already paying dividends for the team, and after making it to the NFC title game this past season, there is reason to believe they will be one of the last teams standing in the NFC once again in 2018.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Vikings have one of the best units in all of football, and they are seemingly only getting better every week. Still, it never hurts to add to the defensive line, and Alabama’s Raekwon Davis is a guy that should hear his name called in the first round next April.

In Davis, the Vikings could bring in a guy that can play up and down the defensive line, and you know he was coached well during his time with the Crimson Tide. Mike Zimmer loves to play solid defense, and they would be getting a proven winner in Davis, who would be another great piece on a defense  that is already elite.
