Tight End. Iowa. Noah Fant. 30. player. 52.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the more surprising teams in the NFL this past season, as they made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game to take on the New England Patriots. Leading heading in to the fourth quarter, the Jaguars blew that lead, as Tom Brady and company made it back to another Super Bowl.

In Week 2 of the NFL season, the Jaguars had the opportunity to get their revenge against the Pats, and they certainly did just that. They battered Brady all game long, the offense looked stellar, and it seems like they have the better collection of talent this season, which could mean a return trip to the AFC title game.

For the Jaguars, they still have holes, and nobody is really sold on Blake Bortles being a franchise quarterback at this point. However, they continue to trot him out there, and add talent around him, and I believe they will look to bring in a standout tight end with their first round pick next April.

The best tight end in this draft class, in my opinion, is Noah Fant from Iowa, who is a guy who is not afraid to go over the middle. Fant has good speed for a guy his size as well, and with stellar hands, he is a target that could really help the Jags passing attack next season. Bortles needs a guy to check down to, and Fant fits that mold perfectly.
