The third week of the NFL season is set to kick off and that means it’s time to review some fantasy football rankings.

Last week was a down performance for my calls on who to sit and start in fantasy football. The biggest fail was calling for the benching of Jimmy Graham. I read to much into his lack of targets in week 1 and the type of impact of Aaron Rodgers injury could have.

Graham was second on the team with eight targets while hauling in six passes for 95 yards. His role within the offense moving forward shouldn’t be in much question.

The other fail I had from last week was sitting Tyreek Hill. He and the entire Kansas City Chiefs passing attack carved up the Pittsburgh Steelers. Guys like Hill and Patrick Mahomes are must-starts moving forward.

We got some clarity this past weekend on how the San Francisco 49ers running back rotation will look. Alfred Morris had more carries, but Matt Breida had a lot better production. Breida should be the main guy in San Francisco.

My biggest hit for the week was John Brown. The speedy wide receiver has developed good chemistry with Joe Flacco and should continue to get plenty of targets. This is with the two failing to really connect deep down the field.

There are some really intriguing matchups for week 3 that should make for some tough decisions. So far this year, offenses are taking charge and putting major points on the board. Be sure you start your players who happen to be on one of those hot offenses.
