Start: Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins

vs. Oakland Raiders

The Miami Dolphins are doing a solid job getting Kenyan Drake touches in multiple ways. They are allowing to use his speed and quickness to pick up chunks of yardage. His numbers so far aren’t eye popping, but he’s doing the most with his touches.

This week the Dolphins face an Oakland Raiders defense that has struggled to stop the running game. They have allowed a 100 yard rusher in each of the first two weeks.

Drake has the talent and should get the workload to keep that trend going. His involvement in the passing game should also help pad his fantasy stats. The Dolphins have a chance to start the year 3-0 and hold onto the top spot in the AFC South.

Sit: David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals

vs. Chicago Bears

David Johnson is still an elite talent who offers strong fantasy value. However, he’s stuck on a team with a terrible offense and issues on defense. The Arizona Cardinals just haven’t played competitive football this year and it doesn’t appear to be getting better.

It’s hard to keep Johnson in your starting lineup when the Cardinals look this bad. Basically, you’re hoping he breaks off a long run or takes a screen pass the distance.

He just isn’t getting a ton of room to work and his goal line touches will continue to be limited as long as the rest of the offense struggles. His matchup against the Bears this week isn’t favorable and makes Johnson a candidate to sit.
