Thursday night football will feature the New York Jets at the Cleveland Browns. This game will officially kick off Week 3 of NFL action.

Thursday Night Football will start Week 3 of the 2018 NFL season. The New York Jets will travel to Cleveland to face Tyrod Taylor and the Browns. The game will kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET and can be seen exclusively on the NFL Network. The Jets had a huge win in week one against the Detroit Lions in Sam Darnolds debut, but fell short against red hot Miami last Sunday. The Browns haven’t won a game this season but have had two close endings against top level teams in the Steelers and Saints.

The New York Jets will be wearing their all white uniforms Thursday. Nothing special but yet very classic uniforms. These uniforms are easy on the eyes. Flashback to those horrible all green Color Rush uniforms and you will notice a major upgrade this season. The Jets will look to get Darnold going early and often as he continues his rookie campaign. The Jets defense and special teams will have to try and replicate week one’s dominance if they want a chance to win Thursday night.

The Cleveland Browns will be debuting their brand new Color Rush uniforms for the 2018 season. Here is a link so you can take a look at them and all their brown glory.

All brown uniforms with orange numbers and lettering, reminiscent of their classic uniforms before they changed the whole look in 2015. These Color Rush uniforms might be hard to look at. We will have to see how they look on the field to get a clear picture.

The Browns have to be feeling somewhat good about themselves at this point in the season. They are winless through two weeks yet again to begin a campaign, but this one feels different. After all, they came within a whisker (or some missed kicks, in some cases), of beating both the Steelers and Saints, two teams who every season put out competitive squads. If you’re a Browns fan, you have to love their fighting spirit and never die attitude. With a young rookie in Baker Mayfield just waiting for his chance at NFL stardom, there is a lot to look forward to despite the overall record to date.
