It’s pretty simple, really; Antonio Brown doesn’t like not winning.

Here’s a question to ask yourself: if you played for an NFL team that was considered a Super Bowl contender, and your team kicked off its season by tying the Cleveland Browns — thus becoming the first team to not beat the Browns in almost two years — would you be a little upset?

The answer is yes. Then follow that up with a 42-37 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and suddenly it looks like the sky is falling on your 2018 season.

That’s where Antonio Brown seems to be at right now with his Pittsburgh Steelers, and that’s most likely why there has been controversy surrounding the superstar wide receiver this week.

On Twitter, Brown responded to criticism saying quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made Brown the great receiver he is today by tweeting back “trade me let’s find out”.

On Monday, the drama continued as Brown was absent from the team facility, leading to him being disciplined by head coach Mike Tomlin. But there is a pretty simple explanation for why Brown has been acting up this week: the Steelers aren’t winning football games.

Pittsburgh is 0-1-1 and the fact that they tied the Browns might be more embarrassing than losing to the Chiefs. The point is that the Steelers haven’t won a game yet in 2018, even though they came into the season with Super Bowl hopes, and Brown has had enough of it.

"“My business is winning; I come here to win,” Brown told reporters, via NFL.com. “And if we ain’t winning, you’re damn right I’m pissed off.”"

The Steelers might not be in such bad shape if running back Le’Veon Bell wasn’t acting like the diva of the century by holding out of the season for a new contract.

But at the same time, the Pittsburgh defense hasn’t done much to help this team, as Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes absolutely carved them up on Sunday for six touchdowns.

In essence, the Steelers are in complete disarray right now, and Brown’s frustration is understandable.
