Los Angeles Chargers @ Los Angeles Rams (-7)

Once again, the Los Angeles Charges are forced to be the away team in their own city. At least this time, there’s a good reason for it.

These two teams are the darlings of the preseason, with many analysts choosing them to go to the Super Bowl this season. Now, the Rams are a touchdown favorite over the Chargers in the same city. A touchdown is a ton, but these Rams just feel different. They’ve played two bad teams, so it’s hard to put your finger on the Rams, but they’ve been really good in those games.

On top of that, they have Todd Gurley, so even when they take their foot off the gas, Gurley puts the pedal to the metal. Seven is just a ton. That’s so many points against a Chargers team that’s this stacked.

The loss of Joey Bosa is really hurting. If he were to return, this pick would probably be the Chargers, but go with the Rams. They will want to run up the score and show the Chargers who own this city (not like it was ever in doubt).

Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks (-1.5)

The Dallas Cowboys looked terrible and won on Sunday Night Football. The Seattle Seahawks looked terrible and lost on Monday Night Football. Both these teams are coming off bad performances in front of a national audience.

What can you say about this matchup? The Seahawks give Russell Wilson no time to throw. His offensive line has serious issues. Pete Carroll doesn’t have the personnel to outcoach his opponent. Earl Thomas is still great, and that’s about it on this defense. The Chicago Bears took this team to the woodshed.

The Cowboys aren’t a playoff caliber team, but they have more skill than the Seahawks. Ezekiel Elliott could take over a game, even without the stellar offensive line. Take the Cowboys with you picks.

Chicago Bears (-6.5) @ Arizona Cardinals

Did the oddmakers miss the Monday night game? The score was close, but it wasn’t that close on the field. Meanwhile, the Cardinals will fight the Bills for possession of the first-overall pick.

Six and a half points is way too low for this line. We know it’s on the road, and the Bears are unproven, but the Cardinals might not be able to score 6.5 points.

Don’t overthink this one. Go with the Bears and don’t look back. Put it in every teaser and make yourself some money.
