Stanford takes on Oregon in a match-up of two ranked Pac-12 teams. Here is all you need to know to watch this Saturday.
Pac-12 play is in full swing this week. One of the biggest conference battles will take place this Saturday when the Stanford Cardinal take on the Oregon Ducks in Eugene. Both teams are undefeated and ranked in the Top 25 coming into this one. Both picked up wins in week three.
Stanford is ranked No. 7 in the country after double-digit wins over San Diego State, ranked USC and University of California Davis. While Heisman candidate Bryce Love has been regarded as the centerpiece of the Cardinal offense, quarterback K.J. Costello has been the leader for the first three games. Costello has thrown for 729 yards so far this season with seven touchdowns. Love sat out last week with an injury but should be ready to go this week as Stanford looks to climb the polls more and more.
Oregon has adjusted to life without Willie Taggart for the first three games. New head coach Mario Cristobal picked up his first win over San Jose State in week one and the Ducks’ offense has continued to roll.
After wins over Portland State and Bowling Green, Oregon has climbed a few spots in the rankings to No. 20. Quarterback Justin Herbert is one of the hottest in the country now with 840 yards and 12 touchdowns already this year. Through the first leg of the season, the Ducks are averaging 51.7 points per game and 503 yards per game. Another high-scoring game could be in the making this week.
Saturday night’s game will be nationally televised on ABC, meaning fans can also stream this clash on ESPN Plus with a TV provider login. Also, fans can stream the game on Fubo TV with a paid subscription after a seven-day free trial.
