UFC President Dana White recently spoke about Youtube star Logan Paul potentially fighting for the UFC, to which White expressed no interested in bringing him.

There’s been much buzz surrounding Youtube star Logan Paul and “JJ” Olatunji (aka KSI) since the fallout of their boxing match. That match eventually resulted as a draw but despite limited experience from the two performers, the fight itself did moderately well business-wise, as it was reported that the event received 784,000 PPV buys for $10 each.

Prior to their bout Paul expressed interest in a fight in the UFC.

“The thought of securing a fight in the UFC is exciting,” stated Paul (via Twitter).

That “athlete” he’s referring to is Sage Northcutt, who tweeted that he’d welcome Logan into the UFC if the time came for it.

UFC president Dana White was recently asked if he’d be interested in signing Paul, though he did not seem interested.

“That guy would get murdered here,” White told MMA Fighting. “He would get hurt badly. If I ever let him fight in the UFC, I should be arrested.”

Despite White rejecting the idea of Paul joining the UFC, he did have positive things to say about him, as he brought up the fact that he and KSI were able to attract a lot of viewers for their fight despite little fan recognition.

“Look, I have no hate for [Paul],” he said. “Look at the business that guy has built on YouTube and the number of pay-per-views they did on YouTube. They did 800,000 [buys] at 10 bucks for two guys that fight fans have never heard of.”

“So he’s built a great business for himself and good for him. But trust me, don’t play around over here. You will get hurt.”

We’ll just have to wait and see if White sticks to his word or if we’ll see Paul inside the Octagon one day.
