With 3 games on the FantasyDraft Sunday main slate coming in with expected totals of 53+ points, there are plenty of directions for DFS players to go with their rosters in Week 3.

Obviously, the majority of the DFS community is going to be game stacking the Saints/Falcons and Chiefs/49ers, but there are plenty of other routes to take for some contrarian plays in your GPP lineups. Here are some guys who may be flying under the radar on the FantasyDraft site for Week 3 that can pay dividends in your GPP tournaments.

Stick’s Picks – NFL FantasyDraft Week 3 GPP Targets (Main Slate)

NFL FantasyDraft GPP Quarterbacks:

Tom Brady ($13,700)

With everyone flocking to roster Patrick Mahomes, Matt Ryan, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Drew Brees this week in DFS, Tom Brady seems like he is going to come in with low-ownership – which is lovely to think about. According to TeamRankings.com, the Patriots have an implied total of 30.2 points, which is the second highest total of the Week (Chiefs implied total is at 30.5 points).

Vegas is expecting a huge offensive output for the Patriots and Tom Brady is going to play a large role in that. Assuming the Patriots have a very good idea on how Matt Patricia is going to run the Lions’ defense, Brady will undoubtedly carve them up.

He is pricey, but he will be worth it. Take advantage of a week where Brady is going to be low-owned.

Drew Brees ($11,500)

Brees is not going to be low-owned by any means, but he is simply too cheap to avoid this week in what should be a  shootout against the Falcons. If you don’t want to pay up for Brady, lock in Brees and stack him with Kamara or Mike Thomas (or both if you can afford to).

It will be a chalky stack, but you can diversify your lineup in other places if you want to get some exposure to this Saints/Falcons game.

DeShaun Watson ($11,400)

The Texans have a decent implied total at 24.2 points on TeamRankings.com and will be facing off against a banged up Giants’ defense. Pass rusher, Olivier Vernon will miss his third consecutive game and cornerback, Eli Apple will also be inactive. Watson should have plenty of time to read the defense and abuse the Giants secondary.

Whether you want to pair him with DeAndre Hopkins or Will Fuller, Watson should be in line for a big day at reasonably low ownership in DFS.

Honorable Mention:

Derek Carr ($10,600) – very low salary and could finally have a breakout game against the Dolphins. Pair him with Amari Cooper or Jared Cook.

Eli Manning ($10,200) – if you’re loading up on WRs and RBs, Eli may not be the worst option if you need to pay down at QB. He can be part of a nice contrarian stack with Odell and Evan Engram.

NFL FantasyDraft GPP Running Backs:

Everyone saw what Christian McCaffrey was able to do through the air against the Falcons last week. The Falcons allow tons of damage to running backs in the passing game and that is not going to stop this week.

Alvin Kamara is the highest priced player on the slate ($17,600) and for good reason. He is in a plus matchup against the Falcons’ defense. I have no problem if you want to lock him into to all of your lineups. Outside of Kamara, here are some running backs you should be getting into your Week 3 DFS lineups:

Ezekiel Elliot ($14,800)

I love Zeke this week. It looks like he is going to go under the radar in his afternoon matchup against the Seahawks. Zeke continues to get more work in the passing game and is always a dangerous rusher. He is primed up for a great game on Sunday and will be very low-owned. I’m locking him in to all of my GPP lineups.

Chris Thompson ($12,800)

Thompson had 13 catches last week and has scored over 20 fantasy points in each of his first two games this season. In a matchup where the Redskins will most likely be chasing points against the Packers, Thompson should remain heavily involved in the offensive game plan. Chris Thompson will have plenty of volume to pay off his relatively low price-point, in what should be a high scoring affair.

Kenyan Drake ($11,100)

Drake is insanely cheap this week and is due for a big game against the Raiders. I’m interested in Drake based on his price tag alone. Drake isn’t the sexiest of plays this weekend, but he’s a very nice flex play that should help DFS owners save some salary for other stud RBs/WRs.

The Broncos were able to run all over the Raiders last week and I expect Miami to do the same. If Drake can get 18+ touches, he should have no problem scoring 20+ fantasy points in the PPR format at FantasyDraft.

Matt Breida ($10,300)

Believe it or not, Matt Breida is the NFL’s leading rusher so far through two weeks of the season. That probably won’t continue as he is due to regress, but I’m going to ride the hot hand on Sunday.

As mentioned earlier, this Chiefs/49ers game is going to have tons of scoring, so you’re going to want to get some exposure to that game. Breida is a cheap option to get in your DFS lineup for Week 3’s highest total (55 points).

Corey Clement ($9,000)

With Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles officially ruled out, Corey Clement is going to be the lead-back in Philadelphia this Sunday. He is going to be heavily owned, but with his price tag at $9,000, he is tough to pass on.

I’m not in love with Clement this weekend, as you never know how much Wendell Smallwood will be involved, but Clement is without a doubt in a good spot as a “salary saver” type of play. He should be a lock for 15+ fantasy points.

Honorable Mention

Latavius Murray ($11,000) – Dalvin Cook is out. Murray should be in line for a huge workload in a blowout against the Bills. FantasyDraft did a nice job getting his price-point significantly higher than Clement’s.

Theo Riddick ($8,200)

Sony Michel ($8,300)

Leonard Fournette ($12,800)

NFL FantasyDraft GPP Wide Receivers:

DFS players are going to jumping all over those high total games with players like Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, and Tyreek Hill. There is absolutely no problem in doing that as they will be a key part of tournament winning lineups.

Besides the three studs mentioned above, here are the wide receivers I’m targeting for GPPs this Sunday:

Odell Beckham Jr. ($14,300)

For $3,100 less, DFS players can pivot away from Michael Thomas to Odell Beckham Jr. If they’re looking to be a little contrarian at the position, Beckham is an excellent way to do so. Odell is due for a monster Odell-like game we all know and love. I’m thinking he goes very low owned this weekend and pays off in a big way.

A.J. Green ($14,100)

A.J. is on an absolute tear to start the season, so I’m going to keep riding his hot hand(s). It looks like Panthers’ cornerback, James Bradberry will be tasked with covering A.J. for most of Sunday’s game, and that is a matchup Green should be able to exploit.

Nelson Agholor ($12,500)

The Eagles will welcome back Carson Wentz this Sunday and he is blessed with a cakewalk matchup against a terrible Colts’ secondary. With Alshon Jeffrey on the sidelines, Nelson Agholor is going to be one of the heavily targeted receivers in Wentz’ first game back.

He is very reasonably priced and should continue to add to his impressive start of the 2018 season. Lock him in as a WR2 in your DFS lineups.

Amari Cooper ($11,900)

After a disappointing Week 1, Cooper saw 10 targets and caught all 10 of them for 116 yards in Week 2. I’m confident he and Carr are now on the same page and keep this rhythm going into Week 3.

The Miami Dolphins’ pass defense have had a very solid start to the season, but they haven’t played any pass catchers worth noting. They’ll have their hands full trying to contain Amari Cooper on Sunday. Assuming Cooper sees 8+ targets, he should easily pay off at his low price tag on FantasyDraft.

Honorable Mention:

Allen Robinson ($11,200)

Will Fuller ($11,000)

Cooper Kupp ($10,100)

Kenny Golladay ($8,000)

Marquise Goodwin ($10,400)

Needless to say, Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce, and Zach Ertz are always going to be the top-3 tight end plays on a weekly basis. If you don’t want to pay up for any of them, here’s what tight ends I’ll be targeting in Week 3 DFS tournaments:

George Kittle ($8,400)

DFS players have to get some shares of this Chiefs/49ers game, so why not lean on George Kittle to bounce back from a poor Week 2 performance? He should get plenty of targets and hopefully finds a way into the end-zone.

Jared Cook ($8,300)

With the minimal price difference, it’s probably best to go with Kittle, but Jared Cook should be a target monster in this matchup against the Dolphins. I’ll have a few mini stacks of Carr/Cooper/Cook for a nice low-owned stack combination.

Eric Ebron ($6,700)

Jack Doyle is officially ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. This should put Ebron in a big spot as Andrew Luck is going to have to rely on someone to catch passes if T.Y. Hilton is not at 100%.

At his price, it’s hard to pass on Ebron if you’re paying up at RB/WR.

Honorable Mention:

Austin Hooper ($5,600)

Jake Butt ($5,200)

I’ll be doing a significant amount of entries this weekend on multiple DFS outlets, but here is one of my sample GPP lineups for the FantasyDraft App:

QB: DeShaun Watson

RB: Alvin Kamara

RB: Ezekiel Elliot

WR: Will Fuller

WR: Odell Beckham Jr.

TE: George Kittle

FLEX: Matt Breida

FLEX: Theo Riddick

DST: Dallas Cowboys
