Here’s how you can watch the Magnum P.I. 2018 reboot series premiere online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

Magnum P.I. starts anew tonight with actor Jay Hernandez (Scandal) in the pivotal role of Thomas Magnum previously portrayed by Tom Selleck. The reboot officially airs tonight on CBS at 9 p.m. ET after being order to series back on May 11, 2018. You can catch the episode online at CBS’s official live stream or with a free seven-day trial from FuboTV.

Along with Hernandez, lead cast members include Perdita Weeks as Juliet Higgins (Penny Dreadful), Zachary Knighton as Orville “Rick” Wright (LA to Vegas), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious films) as Detective Gordon Katsumoto, Stephen Hill as Theodore “TC” Calvin (Luke Cage). Amy Hill (Preacher) will play recurring character Kumu, the ‘cultural curator of Robin’s Nest’ according to Deadline.

The pilot was directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6) and written by Peter M. Lenkov (MacGyver) & Eric Guggenheim (Hawaii Five-0). Lenkov and Guggenheim previously worked together on Hawaii Five-0. Speaking of Hawaii Five-0, there will be three crossover stars appearing on Magnum P.I. throughout the season, Alex O’Loughlin as Lieutenant Commander Steven “Steve” McGarrett, Kimee Balmilero as medical examiner Dr. Noelani Cunha (appearing in tonight’s pilot according to TV Guide), and Taylor Wily as entrepreneur Kamekona Tupuola.

“I Saw the Sun Rise” Episode Description and Sneak Peek:

"After returning home from Afghanistan, Thomas Magnum re-purposes his military skills to become a private investigator in Hawaii."

In the sneak peek for tonight’s Magnum P.I., Thomas Magnum is chased by a pair of dogs on the beach all the way to his house as Juliet does yoga. In the voiceover at the onset of the sneak peek, Magnum speaks of a journalist named Robin Masters who offered him a job as live-in security consultant to “supplement his P.I. business.”

Magnum goes on to mention that Masters was once a journalist with his special operations team in Iraq before becoming a New York Times bestselling author. Masters promised to pay them the team back one day, “for the material they were giving him for his books,” and according to Magnum, Robin Masters is a man of his word.

Magnum P.I.’s preview posted on Twitter of Magnum jumping from his car to latch on to a truck looks spectacular and absolutely action packed!
