We enter Week 4 of the NFL season with just a tad bit more clarity on what players we love and hate. As we enter this upcoming week, we need to remember this is the first week that certain teams will be on bye.

Week 3 once again as usual gave us some more insight on how we want to set our lineups. Guys like Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Michael Thomas and Kyle Rudolph need to be played each and every week.

We have also learned which players not to lean on week to week to help us win. Guys like Isiah Crowell, David Johnson, anybody on the Patriots, simply cant be relied on each and every week. Yes, Crowell and Johnson had good fantasy production this week.

Last week both players laid eggs for their fantasy owners. When setting optimal lineups for each week we want to play guys with the highest floors. For example, Michael Thomas has averaged 10.5 catches a game. That’s an automatic 10.5 points a week just for his volume alone.

Isaiah Crowell and David Johnson are matchup and touchdown dependent each and every week. Although we can exploit when to use players like this, and sometimes we have no other choice because of bye weeks and injuries, we still want to make sure we are playing guys who have a lot of volume each week no matter the opponent.

Without further ado this is the best lineup for week four of your fantasy season. Side note, the five main position slots will be mentioned every week in this article as follows, QB,RB,WR,TE, DEF.

Quarterback – Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan has been on fire the past two weeks. Any questions about this offense’s potential or lack there of have been silenced. The past two games, Matty Ice has thrown for 646 yards seven touchdowns and only one interception. Week three in particular he scorched the Saints 31st ranked defense for 374 yards and a career-high five touchdown passes. Matt Ryan has another great matchup at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals defense through three games has allowed 25.7 points per game, 270.3 passing yards a game and a total of 394 yards a game to opposing offenses.

Matt Ryan looks to have a really nice matchup at home under the dome and keep the hot hand rolling.

Projection: 300 passing yards, 4 TDs, 0 INT
