20. Ryan Tannehill (LW: 23)

Tannehill is playing very well. The Dolphins aren’t asking the world from him, but he’s been aggressive at the right times, resulting in a 3-0 record. Furthermore, Tannehill ranks 22nd in passing yardage (687) but fourth in yards per attempt (9.28). Making the most of his opportunities.

19. Deshaun Watson (LW: 17)

Watson has been wildly inconsistent in his return from a torn ACL. The second-year man has thrown three interceptions, all of them coming in the end zone. Additionally, he is completing less than 60 percent of his throws. Watson needs to play better if Houston is going to climb out of its 0-3 hole.

18. Derek Carr (LW: 18)

Carr has been a fascinating study this year. After looking awful against the Rams in the season opener with three interceptions, the former Fresno State star has turned it around. He’s sixth in YPA (8.43) and hitting on 76.6 percent of his throws, but two touchdowns and five thefts are keeping him grounded in mediocrity.

17. Alex Smith (LW: 19)

Smith was his typical efficient self against the Packers on Sunday. He only threw for 220 yards but did so with a pair of touchdowns, giving him four on the season. Smith is never going to wow you, but he wins, something Washington hasn’t done a ton of since Dan Snyder bought the team.
