NFL quarterback rankings, Week 4: Dak Prescott tumbles
Boomer Esiason Division
12. Matthew Stafford (LW: 13)
Stafford and the Lions got an enormous win on Sunday night, beating the Patriots in front of a national audience. The 30-year-old has struggled some in the early going, highlighted by a four-interception loss to the Jets. However, his play has been steadily improving, and so has the team around him.
11. Kirk Cousins (LW: 8)
Cousins was terrible on Sunday, but then again, so was everybody in purple. He somehow managed not to throw an interception but was about as sharp as a pillow. On the season, though, Cousins has almost 1,000 passing yards and seven touchdowns, earning him a high spot in the rankings.
10. Matt Ryan (LW: 12)
Ryan was fantastic against the Saints, throwing five touchdowns and leading the Falcons to 37 points against their biggest rival. Incredibly, Atlanta managed to lose that game. Regardless, Ryan has played well this year, going for seven touchdowns and 8.46 YPA.
9. Carson Wentz (LW: 6)
Wentz didn’t do anything special in his return to action, throwing for 255 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Still, he’s easily one of the top quarterbacks in the game considering the MVP level he played at a year ago. Next up for Wentz and the Eagles? The Titans. Should be a good week.
