Main’s Mavericks – Week 4 DraftKings NFL GPP Picks

Main’s Mavericks is providing weekly Draftkings NFL GPP contest advice by searching out low-salary, boom-or-bust plays destined to outperform value. As a general rule for this article, I target players below $5,000. My goal is to pick value plays who I believe can exceed 4-5 times their value (EX: $5,000 player x 4 = 20DK Pts). I will be using all of my picks in Week 4 DraftKings NFL GPP tournaments as boom-or-bust punt options. Saving on these volatile players will allow you to pay-up for superstars when building that Week 4 DraftKings NFL $1,000,000 lineup.

Week 3 Mains Mavericks Highlights:

Tyler Boyd 3,700 @ CAR (74th Priced WR) – 28.7 DK Points (almost 8 times value, you are welcome!)

Week 3 Low-Salary Highlights:

RB: Adrian Peterson $4,900 – 27.0 DK Points

RB: Carlos Hyde $4,800 – 24.3 DK Points

WR: Calvin Ridley $3,700 – 43.5 DK Points

WR: Robert Woods $4,600 – 36.7 DK Points

WR: Jordy Nelson $4,400 – 32.3 DK Points

TE: Vance McDonald $2,900 – 24.2 DK Points

Week 4 DraftKings NFL GPP Sleeper Picks

QB:

Mitchell Trubisky 5,200 vs TB (20th Priced QB in Milly Maker)

The Tampa Bay defense is downright appalling. The secondary is filled with rookies and journeyman Chris Conte, who might as well retire after what Vance McDonald did to him. Despite his team being 2-1, Trubisky has looked awful thus far. He is inaccurate, careless with his mechanics, and his deep ball is reminiscent of a young Alex Smith (that is bad people). However, match-up trumps all, and this is a juicy one indeed. Fitz is a gunslinger, and gunslingers put up points. Trubisky will have to put up (points) or shut up against the worst secondary in football.

RB:

Tarik Cohen 4,100 vs TB (34th Priced RB in Milly Maker)

I do not think anyone will have a Chicago Bears DK stack, so right away your lineup is very unique. If the game flow is fast paced and high-scoring like every Tampa Bay game has gone this year, then Trubisky and Cohen will easily hit value.

Nyheim Hines 3,800 vs HOU (44th Priced RB in Milly Maker)

I love the Colts Texans stack this week for DraftKings GPP contests. Two high-powered offenses colliding in a dome environment against two mediocre defenses. Give me the over by a lot! All that passing favors Hines, and lets be honest, Hines has been the better running in that backfield.

Week 4 DraftKings NFL GPP Sleepers

WR:

Quincy Enunwa 4,100 @ JAX (42nd Priced WR in Milly Maker)

This is a tremendous punt play! Enunwa averages 10 targets a game and I doubt he will ever be matched up against Jaylen Ramsey. This game should be a defensive struggle, but Sam Darnold will still feed his favorite target.

More from FanSided

Donte Moncrief 3,600 vs NYJ (58th Priced WR in Milly Maker)

I am all in on a bounce-back week for the Jacksonville Jaguars offense. Only scoring 6 points to Tennessee in Week 3 was an anomaly. Moncreif has averaged 6 targets per game this year, and with the big-play upside that he possesses I have no issues with rolling out Moncrief at the near-minimum price.

TE:

Tyler Eifert 3,800 @ NYG (8th Priced TE)

I have given you so much value to this point, that I will pay-up and tell you about a play I absolutely love! Eifert’s targets have climbed each week and his price-tag is only this low because he has yet to find the endzone. He enters the week as the 8th priced TE, and is matched up against a decimated linebacker crew and safeties that will be forced to worry about AJ Green’s size and John Ross‘s speed. Mark my words, Eifert will finish as a top TE in the Milly Maker!
