Next Game: vs Baylor

As expected, the Army Black Knights did their part in controlling the tempo of the game as well as the clock, keeping Kyler Murray off the field as much as possible. Unfortunately for Army, when Murray did take the field he made the most of it.

It was a much closer game than many expect (except me) with Army taking the Sooners to overtime. Seeing the Baylor Bears come into Norman will be a breath of fresh air for the Sooner defense as well as Kyler Murray.

Baylor is ranked 41st in the nation in pass defense, giving up 181.5 pass yards per game. It’s the 167 yards per game the Bears are giving up on the ground that will open things up for Murray, both with his legs and arm.

Should be a big day for the Oklahoma quarterback, and if he has a couple of big moments he could find himself climbing up the list of Heisman contenders.
