Leganes host league leaders Barcelona at the Butarque on Monday, Sept. 24. Here is all the info you need to watch the match.

The games are beginning to come thick and fast over in Spain with Barcelona traveling to Madrid to take on Leganes in this season’s first round of midweek fixtures. The Catalans are coming to the end of a quick turnaround of games after narrowly beating Real Sociedad 2-1 at the Anoeta, Barca have played a Champions League match against PSV on Tuesday, winning 4-0 and drawing 2-2 against Girona on Sunday.

That makes it four games for the Catalans in nine days and they will make it five in a fortnight when they visit the San Mames on Saturday to face Athletic Bilbao. Such a quick succession of games and a visit to his former hunting ground glooming in the distance, Ernesto Valverde is likely to rotate his side, in the hopes of keeping key figures fresh during this testing run of games.

Leganes, meanwhile, won’t need to worry too much about rotations. In contrast to their opponents, the Madrid side don’t have any European football to concern themselves and will enter this tie with the fresher legs. Unfortunately, Los Pepineros recent record against Monday night’s visitors suggest they will need more than just fresher legs to get a result off Barca. They have lost all four of their league fixtures against the Blaugranas conceding an average of three or more. Leganes are also rock bottom of the table, having only picked up a point from their first four games.
