With two top-10 games headlining this weekends slate, fans will want to clear their schedule for a stacked Saturday of college football. Here is everything you need to know about this weekend’s best games.

Last weekend college football was electric, with Old Dominion pulling off one of the greatest upsets in the past decade against Virginia Tech and Oregon practically handing a critical Pac-12 game to Stanford.

While we may not have another weekend with this level of drama, fans are certainly in store for a stacked slate of games this Saturday.

This weekend includes two top-10 match-ups, which also happen to be tense rivalry games. Stanford will take a break from Pac-12 play and travel to face a hot Notre Dame team in South Bend, while Ohio State will face off against Penn State in a game that may determine the Big Ten East Champion.

While these two games will absorb all the headlines going into the weekend, there is plenty more for fans to watch. Here is a look at the best games of the week.

(12) West Virginia at (25) Texas Tech – 12:00 p.m. ET – ESPN2

With no clear leader in the Big 12, West Virginia and Texas Tech will both look to show they are ready to challenge Oklahoma for the title this season.

Texas Tech opened the season with a loss to Ole Miss but has since gone 3-0, including a huge win against Oklahoma State last weekend. The Red Raiders are led by freshman quarterback Alan Bowman, who has thrown for 1,557 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season and developed great chemistry with wide receiver Antoine Wesley. However, Bowman has not faced a defense as good as West Virginia will put on the field, which employs a unique 3-3-5 set that has been known to confuse quarterbacks over the years.

West Virginia enters the game 3-0 and absolutely dismantled Kansas State in Morgantown last weekend. Quarterback Will Grier has been cutting up opposing secondaries all season, but the Mountaineers defense has been surprisingly impressive. West Virginia defensive coordinator Tony Gibson has his defense playing fast and aggressive, which has allowed West Virginia to hold opponents to 12.3 points and 312 yards per game. If they look to improve to 4-0, the defense must continue to be aggressive, but not allow the Texas Tech offense to beat them with big plays over the top.

Texas Tech fans may consider leaving the tortillas at home this weekend because the Mountaineers look poised to light up the scoreboard and easily cover the 3.5 point spread.
