3. Trust the Steelers offense to score

Le’Veon Bell isn’t going to return for the Steelers this week, but the offense is still moving the ball really well without him. The Ravens have a really tough defense, but the home field advantage is going to be enough to get Pittsburgh a quality win inside the division.

It’s pretty much a certainty that the Steelers are going to score points. The same can’t be said of the Ravens offense. Joe Flacco has shown signs of life this season, but there’s still something about his game that seems off. The run game has also been stuck in the mud. Alex Collins looks like a quality back, but he fumbles the ball too much for the coaching staff to really trust him.

Add it all up and it bodes well for a close, but somewhat comfortable Steelers win. Expect the game to be pretty cagey for the first half, but Pittsburgh’s firepower should prove to be too much as the game goes along. The only way the Ravens can win is if they keep this game as a defensive dogfight. We don’t see that as a likely path to victory.

As such, feel free to take the Steelers -3. We like Mike Tomlin’s team to win by a touchdown in this one. Don’t get crazy with a tease, but bet the line with confidence.
