Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-1.5)

Why would anybody take the Texans (0-3) right now? Houston couldn’t beat the Giants in its own building. Andrew Luck hasn’t played well, but the Colts (1-2) have proven a very tough out. It’s not hard to see them winning at home against one of the worst-coached teams in football.

Pick: Indianapolis 30, Houston 23

Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots (-7)

This is borderline Armageddon for the Patriots (1-2), who would fall three games behind the Dolphins (3-0) in the AFC East with a loss. New England has to find a way to get right at home even without much offense and a slow defense.

Pick: New England 27, Miami 24

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars (-7.5)

The Jaguars (2-1) will struggle to move the ball in this game, which is why the line is too high. However, the Jets (1-2) are probably turning the ball over a few times due to Sam Darnold going against the league’s best defense.

Pick: Jacksonville 16, New York 12

Philadelphia Eagles (-4) at Tennessee Titans

This could be an ugly one. The Eagles (2-1) are still finding their footing offensively after so many injuries to start the year, while the Titans (2-1) haven’t mustered anything on that side of the ball. Ultimately, the pick is Philadelphia because Carson Wentz is good, and Marcus Mariota isn’t.

Pick: Philadelphia 24, Tennessee 19

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears (-3)

Tough game to call. The Bears (2-1) are playing really well defensively, but Mitchell Trubisky is becoming more and more of a problem. As for the Buccaneers (2-1) is this a legitimately good team or is it about to become a pumpkin? Ride the home team.

Pick: Chicago 20, Tampa Bay 16
