As we head into Week 4 of the NFL season we are starting to see some trends take shape in the Fantasy Football world, but some surprises are still ahead.

There have been plenty of great storylines that have taken shape early in the NFL season. A lot of those situations have had a major impact on your fantasy football leagues. Patrick Mahomes success might be the biggest breakout in years.

Mahomes is destroying NFL defenses and providing a ton of fantasy football points. His success has the Kansas City Chiefs sitting atop the AFC West.

There were some who saw Mahomes having a big season in his first year as the full time starter. However, it’s hard to imagine anyone seeing this level of success. Anyone who made that call would have categorized it as a bold prediction.

This week Mahomes appears on my bold prediction list, but it might not be what most expect. Things could take a turn for Mahomes and the Chiefs this weekend.

My predictions for last week were a mix of hits and misses. My call that Aaron Jones would be the top fantasy option in the Green Bay Packers backfield hit. However, Jimmy Garroppolo wasn’t able to have a big day against the Chiefs defense.

Sony Michel paced the New England Patriots in carries, but couldn’t really find a rhythm. The Patriots were playing from behind for most of the game which changed their plan of attack.

The Ravens gave Alex Collins plenty of work and he had a solid fantasy day. However, he didn’t produce as I predicted.
