Allen Robinson grabs two touchdowns against the Buccaneers

The Chicago Bears offense has shown signs of being a high-scoring unit. This is a group that has performed well in the early going, but hits a wall as the game progresses. A lot of that has to do with the fact that Mitch Trubisky is still developing as a quarterback.

One of the more consistent producers in the Bears offense has been Allen Robinson. He has shown some big-play ability while also helping to move the chains.

Robinson is by-far Trubisky’s favorite target averaging nearly 10 targets per game. Trubisky trusts Robinson’s ability to win in contested situations and haul in poorly thrown passes. It’s one of the reasons the Bears made adding Robinson a priority this offseason.

This week the Bears face a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that has been in shootouts in each of the first three weeks. Tampa Bay’s secondary is a complete mess which has forced their offense to push the tempo.

Chicago will need Robinson to have a big game this weekend if they hope to keep pace with Ryan Fitzpatrick and company. He has a great chance to find the end zone on more than one occasion against the Buccaneers.
