Week 4: Draftkings NFL DFS Cash Game Locks
By Chris Brent
Cash Games Advice
Cash games are double ups, triple ups and head-to-head, where these contest pay a higher percentage of the field than tournaments do. Week 4 is here, last week made a few mistakes a narrowly missed the cash line in cash games. However, this is going to be a bounce back week for us at FantasyCPR.
In Week 4, DraftKings is offering a $10 tournament where the first place prize payouts one-million dollars. You can join Draftkings here:
Before we dive into the slate, the safest form of cash games is head-to-head formats. Head to heads payout out the best percentage return at 50-percent, and double ups usually only 43.5-percent of people get paid out. My advice if you are playing $50 in cash games, you should play 30 $1 head-to-heads and then $10 single entry double up and the 2 $5 single entry double ups. Diversify your cash games, try to play 30-different opponents, this will give you the best chance not to get burned.
Let’s move onto the cash game locks for Week 4
Cash Game Locks:
These cash game locks are going to be in my cash lineup on Sunday, unless some crazy news breaks that opens up some sort of crazy value. I am writing this on Friday and this is where I currently stand for Sunday’s cash games.
QB – Andy Dalton, CIN @ ATL ($5,400):
Dalton is just too cheap for what he offers for us in this matchup. Through the first three games, Dalton has thrown multiple touchdown passes in each of these games. Vegas has this game as the highest total on the slate and they have the Bengals 3.5 point underdogs. So we have solid game script, with a team that has a pass catching running back as the feature back. Dalton is going to be throwing, will likely make some mistakes, however, his volume should make up for the mistakes he makes. Look for Dalton to throw 40-plus times for 300-plus yards and two touchdowns this week. Lock him in.

RB – Giovani Bernard, CIN @ ATL ($6,300):
Bernard is one of the best plays on the entire slate, he’s cheap and he is playing a defense that funnels catches to the running back position. Atlanta has allowed running backs to catch 33 total passes through just three games. This is a lock and load spot for Bernard as he has a favorable game script and a defense that plays to his strengths. Bernard’s floor is incredibly safe and we need to lock him in.
RB – Alvin Kamara, NO @ NYG
Easiest play, my favorite play on the slate. Kamara projects as my highest scorer of the week. The Saints offense is focused around two players, which is great for our Draftkings projections. Kamara is in an elite spot, this is the last game without Mark Ingram, and the volume will be there. Kamara is a passing catching back, who will receive goal-line carries for this offense. Do not over think this spot for cash games.
WR – Tyler Boyd, CIN @ ATL ($4,600):
So this the third Bengals’ player in my cash games and people tend to not do this in cash games because they believe it limits their upside. However, all three of players are massively underpriced. Boyd has played 80-percent of the Bengals snaps so far this season, more than A.J. Green. Boyd is a lock in my cash games as he has put together back-to-back 5-plus catch games, with 90-plus receiving yards in both games.
WR – Sterling Shepard, NYG v. NO ($4,900)
Shepard has been a go-to option for the Giants offense so far in 2018. Through three weeks Shepard has been targeted 19 times. This game is going to shootout and the game script favors Shepard as the Giants are 3.5-point underdogs at home in the second highest totaled game of the week. Also, Shepard helps me get to who I need to fit at running back this week. I expect him to be one of the most popular players of the week.
Defense: Chicago Bears ($2,600) v. TB
I don’t get this price at all for the Bears .The Bears were 3,500 last week, played extremely well and fell off $900? Now the Bears will get Ryan Fitzpatrick at home, who might find some points, however he is going to turn over the football. I love the Bears in cash games, I see them being extremely popular after being completely missed priced by Draftkings.
