7. Jaguars D vs New York (Jets)

We don’t even want to talk about last week. The Jaguars loss to Tennessee? Didn’t happen. Alright it did. Both defenses came to play, the offenses didn’t and the Titans won in a barn burner 9-6.

This week that Jaguars defense IMO takes it up a notch. Rookie quarterback, still developing wide receiver core, up and down running backs. It screams trap game.

Blake Bortles and the Jags offense has to find their groove again. You go from a dominant offensive and defensive performance against the Patriots to putting up six points at home.

I think overall this one is heavily on the Jaguars and they’re my top defense this week.

6. Allen Robinson vs Tampa Bay

Allen Robinson is finding his footing in Chicago and I think that breaks open this week against Tampa Bay. Will Fitzmagic still be under center? I think so. If he is that presents big opportunities for the Bears defense, who continue to perform.

Robinson is developing into one of Trubisky’s favorite wide receivers, alongside Trey Burton, including seven targets against the Cardinals Sunday. That only ended up as three catches for 50 yards but the times that Robinson is Trubisky’s top target will pay off and I think this matchup is that time.

The Buccaneers have been hammered by receivers and tight ends in each of their three matchups. Cue the McDonald stiff arm video on a loop. Can the Bears offense finally back up their elite defense and put up points? They might have to and Robinson is the guy I expect to get heavy heavy targets this week.
