NFL DFS DraftKings Top Stacks for Week 4
By Ben McDaniel
If you read my article, How To Win the DraftKings Millionaire Maker Contest, you already know how important it is that you include at least one team stack in your NFL DFS lineup. Remember that in 2017, 13 out of 15 winning Millionaire Maker lineups included at least one stack! So which players should you be targeting in week 4? Here are a few of my favorite NFL DFS DraftKings Top Stacks for Week 4! Be sure to follow me on Twitter @BenMcD_Sports as I’ll be sharing updates on my top stacks as we get closer to kickoff!
NFL DFS DraftKings Top Stacks
Drew Brees $6,600, Alvin Kamara $9,600, Michael Thomas $9,100
I probably don’t need to convince you that a Saints stack is one of the best options from a pure production standpoint. The only real question is whether they’re worth paying up for. Brees can still be had a value price, but the same can’t be as easily said for his top weapons. One factor to consider when deciding on whether or not to pay up, is that this slate is missing a ton of normally high salary pivot options. Most notably, the Steelers, Chiefs, and Panthers players won’t be featured in these contests. There are only a few guys who possess anywhere near as high of a ceiling as Kamara and Thomas, and with most of them unavailable, it’ll be hard to say no to a New Orleans stack. Fade at your own risk. I’ll be looking for ways to stack the Saints along with OBJ or Sterling Shepherd from the Giants side of the ball.
Baker Mayfield $5,300, Jarvis Landry $7,400, Antonio Calloway $4,300
Despite the fact that Mayfield is set to make his first career start, he’s going to be an immensely popular play at QB. However, it’s impossible to ignore the type of potential this stack carries in week 4. Thrust into action due to Tyrod Taylor exiting the game with a head injury, Mayfield showed everyone why he was the #1 pick. As soon as the rookie gunslinger came into the game, Landry looked like the bona-fide #1 WR Cleveland was hoping they got when they signed him last offseason. With a full week to prepare for a great matchup with Oakland, the Browns should have no problem lighting up the scoreboard this Sunday. If you don’t want to spend up on Landry, Callaway makes for one of the better value plays of the day. His speed makes him an exceptional downfield threat, and with Mayfield under center it becomes much more likely he’ll have catchable balls thrown his way.

Andy Dalton $5,400, Tyler Boyd $4,600
This stack just seems entirely way too cheap. Here are Dalton’s and Boyd’s last two weeks.
- Week 3 – Dalton 21.1, Boyd 28.7
- Week 2 – Dalton 26.6, Boyd 21.1
So what makes the Dalton/Boyd connection even more attractive this week? How about a matchup with a dreadful defense in what is expected to be the highest scoring game of the day? They’re going to popular, but with such low salaries, they don’t really have to score many points to be worth your while.
Ryan Tannehill $5,500, DeVante Parker $3,500
Before you read any further, just know that this is not a cash game recommendation. When building cash game lineups you want reliable, trust-worthy players, and I trust DeVante Parker as far as I can throw him. However, as I wrote about in NFL DFS DraftKings Week 4 Lineup Advice, this Dolphins stack has huge potential on Sunday.
With New England being a 7 point favorite at home, we could be looking at the perfect game script for this duo. Through 3 games, Tannehill has scored 15.6, 18.1, and 26.2 points while never attempting more than 27 passes in a game. If forced into catchup mode, the extra volume against a leaky defense gives Tannehill and his targets a considerable boost. After returning to action in week 3, Parker played on 75% of Miami’s snaps, making it clear that the Dolphins still have big plans for their oft-injured former first round pick. This stack allows the roster flexibility to squeeze in multiple high-priced options, including Rob Gronkowski who should be a big reason New England is playing with the lead. Plus, in a large GPP, any combination of Miami players will be overlooked due to sexier options available. I love Tannehill/Parker in tournaments in week 4.
