Winner: Ohio State Buckeyes (No. 4 up to No. 3)

It’s not often you see the top four teams in the country win and one still jumps another. Ohio State jumped a spot over Clemson after beating No. 9 Penn State on the road in Week 5.

Recording a statement win, the Buckeyes set themselves up for a comfortable road to the Big Ten title game. Sure, Michigan and Michigan State still remain on the schedule, but the Buckeyes gave themselves a nice cushion to start conference play and they should have an easy path until that game against the Spartans in November.

Penn State held a 26-14 lead over Ohio State in the fourth quarter and the game looked all but over, but Dwayne Haskins had different plans. He led the Buckeyes back from the brink, scoring two touchdowns to take a 27-26 lead and the defense clamped down on the Nittany Lions’ final drive.

Urban Meyer’s team is thought to be the only one that could truly contend with Nick Saban and Alabama, but the season is still young.

We may be looking at the best quarterback Meyer has ever coached in Haskins, and that’s a scary thought.
