No. 7 Aaron Jones vs Buffalo

Aaron Jones wasn’t supposed to get a lot of touches last week. He still contributed in a big way. With the Packers down Jones found lots of space up the middle for multiple first downs during the comeback.

42 yards on six carries in his 2018 debut and Jones should figure to have his spot in the rotation fully back. There’s an interesting trio here. Montgomery catches passes from Rodgers and is an important short yardage back. Jamaal Williams was the heavy carry back and that was expected Sunday against Washington but Jones ended up with the most (by one) in the loss.

The Buffalo defense started the season poorly, allowing three touchdowns on the ground against Baltimore and another against the Chargers. Last week, the Vikings couldn’t get anything going. I don’t think that’s as much of an outlook for Buffalo as a bad week for Minnesota. The Rodgers revenge game could lead to really impactful carries for Jones against Buffalo.
