No. 3 Giovani Bernard vs Atlanta

With Joe Mixon still out a lot falls on Bernard and I think he maximizes that in this matchup with the Falcons. Bernard at that second level is a tough stop and with a banged up Falcons secondary if he gets into space will he be lethal?

12 touches and 61 yards later, Bernard finished a strong Sunday with a touchdown and is making the most of the touches he’s getting while Mixon is out.

The Falcons, meanwhile, have given up 377 yards on the ground so far this season good for 5th worst in the league. They’re also second worst in the league at 5.2 yards per carry for opponents. This all screams start for Bernard. He is dealing with a thigh issue but health permitting, I love this play this week.
