Watch Shameless season 9, episode 4 online
By Zoe West
Where can you find this weeks episode of Shameless online?
This week on Shameless, it looks like Frank’s most recent obsession will be coming to a point. In the first three episodes of season 9, he spent quite a bit of time (and energy) campaigning for his preferred congressional candidate: the not ironically named at all Mo White. His need to “Make America white[or White] again” made him a productive fundraiser. But also allowed him to put some real problems with Mo White aside. Namely, as we learned in episode 3, that he was once arrested for having a relationship with a minor. With the election approaching, and Fiona working for an opponent, Frank might need to pull out all the stops if he wants Mo White to win.
It will also be interesting to see if Shameless does anything special for episode 4. This’ll be the show’s 100th episode, a milestone that few shows reach. And some of the characters are at turning points in their lives. Frank is about to see if his latest passion project, Mo White’s campaign, will work out. Liam received a rude wake-up call when he spent the day at public school, what will he do about it? How will Kevin’s attempt to make this bar ‘less rapey’ end up. Somehow calling women ‘vaginal enterprises’ doesn’t seem like the most effective way to discourage rape. Just the opposite in fact. Lip just killed a hospital patient, what are the consequences? (Will there be any?) And will Ian figure out how to bring his ‘gay Jesus’ character into play now that he’s out of prison (apparently his ‘god’ doesn’t want to talk to him anymore)?
The PROMO for episode 4, “Do Right, Vote White!”doesn’t give too many answers. Though it does look like Frank’s efforts to turn out the vote for Mo White will backfire on him (in a way.) He may end up being the victim in a crisis of his own making.
