Pac-12 power rankings, Week 6: Stanford down but not out, Oregon rebounds

The Utah Utes made the trip to Pullman to take on Washington State this past weekend, fresh off having the week off in Week 4. Unfortunately for the Utes, the time off did not help them, as they were beaten by the Cougars thanks to a Gardner Minshew touchdown pass to Easop Winston with a little over four minutes left in the fourth quarter on Saturday.
The Utes held a 24-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but could not hang on, as the Cougars pulled off a solid home win in the Pac-12. Utah got a solid effort from running back Zack Moss, who rushed for more than 100 yards and a touchdown, and quarterback Tyler Huntley scored twice on the ground, but could not do much through the air.
Utah came into the game with the No. 1 defense in the country, but Minshew was able to do what he wanted against them. It does not get any easier for Utah this weekend, as they have to go to Stanford to take on a Cardinal team that will be looking for blood after being drubbed by Notre Dame this past weekend in one of the bigger matchups in college football.
Arizona has had a very up and down season through their first four games, and on Saturday, it was more of the same at home against the USC Trojans. The Wildcats fell behind 24-0 to the Trojans, before battling back, though they ended p on the losing side of a 24-20 conference game that spells big trouble for their chances of winning their division.
The Wildcats have one of the more electric quarterbacks in the country in Khalil Tate, who played well in the second half against USC. Tate threw for 232 yards against the Trojans, tossing two second-half touchdowns, and really stepped up with the Wildcats struggling to do much of anything on the ground.
Star running back JJ Taylor had only 50 yards on the ground after exploding for nearly 300 a week ago, but in the end, the Wildcats could not run their winning streak to three games. They have another tough one on the road this weekend, as they have to go to Cal to take on a Golden Bears team that should be fired up after a bad loss to Oregon this weekend.
