WIDE RECEIVER, ANTONIO BROWN, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Antonio Brown going up against the horrendous Atlanta Falcons defense in Week 5 is like a handmade gift from Santa Claus himself. Week 4 against a stout Baltimore Ravens defense, Brown managed five receptions on 11 targets adding 62 yards and a touchdown. His 26-yard touchdown from Ben Roethlisberger helped salvage his fantasy day and allow his fantasy owners a sigh of relief.

Brown has gotten off to a slow start in his 2018 campaign, at least for his standards and the gaudy numbers we are use to. His 29 receptions and 272 yards receiving through four games is shocking. He has managed three receiving touchdowns, which isn’t that disappointing overall.

The Le’veon Bell effect has swung into full force as James Conner has been slowed down the past two weeks against stout run defenses in Tampa Bay and Baltimore. Conner is good, but he’s no Le’veon Bell.

The addition of JuJu Smith-Schuster and Vance McDonald also have taken a negative effect as defenses double team Brown and allow Big Ben to find other playmakers. Smith-Schuster and McDonald matched Brown in Week 4 with 62 and 60 yards receiving respectively.

The Steelers and Falcons have both allowed over 400 yards a game to opposing offenses. Atlanta has allowed 403 total yards along with 284 passing yards, 119 rushing yards and 30.5 points per game. Look for Big Ben and Co. to play aggressively at home in a much needed home win to convince Steeler Nation the sky isn’t falling.

Prediction: 100 receiving yards, 10 reception, 2 touchdowns
