Fantasy Football, Week 5: Best lineup with start/sit advice
By Dylan Broady
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS, TENNESSEE TITANS
The Titans have been one of the better teams so far in 2018. Week 5 they get a date with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills’ 31st-ranked offense. Josh Allen and Co. have managed only 220.8 yards of total offense a game.
Buffalo’s 132.5 passing yards, along with a mere 88.3 rushing yards per game, is atrocious. Here are some more eye-opening stats. Buffalo only manages 3.7 yards per play, 12.5 points per game and 1.5 interceptions per game.
On the other side of the ball. The Titans defense allows 18.3 points per game. Their bend-but-don’t-break mentality fits with Dean Pees and his defensive mindset. They do allow 242 passing yards a game and 360.8 total yards per game.
With what the Bills bring to the field, the Titans should have no issues keeping Allen and a hobbled LeSean McCoy from scoring a touchdown on Sunday. The Bills are likely to disappoint their home crowd in what should be an easy win for the Titans.
Tennessee will help all of us who prefer to stream defenses week to week. In Week 4 the Titans defense helped in a big win over the reigning champions in the Philadelphia Eagles. Carson Wentz only managed 23 total points along with a costly fumble.
This Titans defense is severely undervalued and will capitalize on a tasty depleted Bills offense in Week 5.
Prediction: 200 total yards allowed, 3 points allow, 3 INT, 2 Fum Rec, 5 sacks.
