1. Mitchell Trubisky

Let’s start with an obvious statement. Trubisky isn’t going to play like he did in Week 4 again this season. That doesn’t mean he lacks Fantasy value though. Teams short of talent at the quarterback position should definitely invest in Trubisky and perhaps more importantly, Matt Nagy.

Remember, the Bears aren’t going to ask Trubisky to make a ton of difficult throws every week. Nagy’s offense will try to protect him as much as possible. That means his job is to get the ball out of his hands quickly to the team’s playmakers.

That group is pretty underrated. Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen combine to get him a really talented running back duo. Trey Burton is a dynamic weapon at the tight end position. Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel give him two quality, starting wide receivers.

Next. Bears go all in to help Trubisky succeed. dark

Add it all up and Trubisky is an easy add for leagues that require two quarterbacks. Depending on the matchup, he’s also an excellent add for players that like to stream signal callers on a weekly basis. Trubisky has a bye in Week 5, but it’s smart to pick him up before he blows up again. Waiting another week might cost you the chance to solidify your quarterback position.
