Roma face Plzen at Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Roma got off to a poor start in Serie A and in Champions League but there is hope that the club can turn it around after beating their city rivals Lazio on Saturday. On Tuesday, Roma host Czech side Viktoria Plzen at Stadio Olimpico. Plzen opened their Champions League campaign with a 2-2 draw against CSKA Moscow.

Roma opened their Champions League campaign against Real Madrid, losing 3-0. Eusebio Di Francesco’s team struggled badly against Real, failing to generate any real scoring chance. In Serie A, Roma got off to an awful start, picking up only five points in their first five games. After winning two straight games, Roma have appeared to turn things around. However, the club still needs to get Edin Dzeko going. Dzeko was arguably Roma’s most important player in the run to the semifinal last season but he has scored only one goal this season. Di Francesco might have to make an adjustment to his starting XI after Javier Pastore limped off with a calf injury on Saturday against Lazio.

Plzen have won eight of 10 games in the Czech league. However, they are a significantly better team at home than they are on the road. Plzen have won all five home games, scoring 10 goals at home, while conceding only once. On the road, Plzen have lost two games, scoring only five goals and allowing eight. If Plzen are going to steal a point from Roma in Italy, Michael Krmencik will likely play a large role. The Czech striker scored both of Plzen’s goals against CSKA Moscow and has scored seven times in the Czech league.
