2019 NFL Mock Draft: Broncos land Justin Herbert
By Brad Weiss
The Buffalo Bills shocked the world in Week 3, as they went into Minnesota and put a beating on the Vikings in rookie quarterback Josh Allen’s first NFL start. Playing against another NFC North opponent this past Sunday, this time the Green Bay Packers, Allen and company were not so lucky.
By the time the game ended, the Bills were looking down the wrong end of a 22-0 score, as they moved their record to start the 2018 NFL season to 1-3. This team is going to struggle with consistency this season, as is always the case with a rookie quarterback, and should find themselves picking in the top of the 2019 NFL Draft next April.
With that pick, the Bills should look to bring in an elite edge rusher, and there is no-one better in this draft class at getting after the quarterback than Nick Bosa from Ohio State. Sure, Bosa is injured right now, and may not make it back for the rest of the season, but that should do nothing to derail teams from coveting him in the first round in 2019.
Bosa is the kind of guy you can build a defense around, and while the Bills have some nice, young talent on that side of the ball, he is on another level. He can really help this team be better immediately, and the Bills are only one year removed from being a playoff team, although they look nothing like one so far this season.
