The Green Bay Packers will have two picks in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, thanks to the trade they swung with the New Orleans Saints during the 2017 NFL Draft. Their second pick, up to this point, would be the one they got from the Saints, and with it, they should look to continue to add young talent to a very weak defensive unit.

Green Bay has the talent on offense to win a Super Bowl, and their quarterback is one of the best who has ever played the game. The problem is, the defense has been so bad, and in a very tough NFC Conference, it is going to be very hard to come out of the playoffs as the team representing the conference in the Super Bowl.

One player who could be available late in round one, when the Pack pick for the second time, is Rashan Gary, who is a talented defensive lineman from Michigan. Gary is one of the more versatile defensive linemen in this draft class, as he has incredible speed, and also had the kind of strength needed to push offensive linemen around at the next level.

The Packers have gotten out to a weird start to the season, tying the Minnesota Vikings, and getting blown out by the Washington Redskins. They should be one of the last teams standing in the NFC this season, but this defense has a long way to go before they are a Super Bowl-ready unit.
