WR: Keke Coutee, Houston Texans

In NFL.com fantasy, Keke Coutee isn’t even owned by 1.0% of owners, and he could be a nice value play in deep leagues for the remainder of the season. Coutee came into this league as a fourth-round-pick, having once been one of Patrick Mahomes’s favorite targets at Texas Tech. Out of all of his teammates on the Red Raiders, Coutee showed the most potential as a pro, dazzling commentators and spectators with his agility after the catch.

Coutee can be the gadget player that Braxton Miller failed to become for Houston, and he made a huge impression in Week 4 with 11 receptions on 15 targets. In an offense that includes DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, and Lamar Miller, Coutee may not always get the targets, but it was honestly jarring to see him come away with 15 and make such an impact on those looks from rising star quarterback Deshaun Watson.

In 2018, Watson has been on fire in terms of passing yardage, as he’s never dipped below 300 passing yards since his sub-200 dud in Week 1. Watson has kept the turnovers low and the passing yardage high, and Coutee can play a big role in this Texans offense if this production from Watson continues.

If Fuller and Hopkins ever have to miss time, Coutee would immediately be a solid No. 2 option for Watson. Even with those two stars healthy, Coutee can soak up targets underneath, providing Watson with a clever option to extend drives, given that Coutee can embarrass defenders with the ball in his hands.
