Who should you be rooting for if your team isn’t in October?

Cleveland Indians

The true underdog heading into the postseason. Only the Braves had less wins than the Indians. Ever since they blew a 3-1 lead to the Chicago Cubs, it just seems like fate is once again Cleveland. LeBron left…again. The Browns went 0-16. And the Indians were some how better last year, but didn’t make it past the divisional round.

If you want to play the underdog card, root for the Indians. Also, if you want to be miserable in a month, root for the Indians.

The Indians have the longest active championship drought. They are a small market team who can’t throw money around like the Yankees and Dodgers. They are the underdog in every sense of the word. Not only that, but it really feels like they blew their shot when they were up 3-1 ON THE FRIGGIN’ CUBS!

Other reasons to root for the Cleveland Indians

You just feel bad for Cleveland. Did you miss what I typed earlier? LeBron left…again. The Browns went 0-16. The Indians were the best team in the American League last season and lost in the divisional round. Look, Cleveland is in bad shape right now. Sure, the Brown finally won. But then they just lost to the Raiders. Did I mention that LeBron left…again? If you have a pity vote, vote Cleveland.

You’re a fan of Major League. Technically, this should be everyone. If Major League doesn’t make your heart sing. Check your pulse. And if you have a pulse, kindly get out.
