Want to know which NFL games are playing on your television this weekend? Youāve come to the right place! Here are the broadcast maps for the country for Week 5 of the NFL season.
The NFL action leaves its first month of the season as Week 5 sees the calendar change from September to October. We are starting to see which teams are good and which teams are the Buffalo Bills.
Seriously, we are starting to learn which matchups we want to watch on a weekly basis, and if weāre not blessed to own the NFL Red Zone channel, then we are handcuffed by the decisions of the executives of CBS and FOX. So, who do they have set up to play in your area?
The first game of the week plays on FOX, pitting the New England Patriots against the Indianapolis Colts. Itās this weekās game for Thursday Night Football, and sees the return of Julian Edelman from his PED suspension.
Hereās what your Sunday slate will look like:
All maps provided by 506sports.com.
CBS Early

CBS considers the main game of the week the huge matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars. It has the best offensive in the league taking on one of the best defenses. Thatās why they chose to put Tony Romo and Jim Nantz on that broadcast. Besides that, the broadcasts are all over the map. Jets and Broncos play in the New York area and most of the Rocky Mountains. The only night game on the slate has the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Oakland Raiders. However, if you are not in green, you likely wonāt see that game. CBS will probably play bull riding or water sports in its place.
FOX Early

FOXās early slate is a little more cut and dry. Aaron Rodgers takes over a majority of the country, as he leads the Green Bay Packers into Detroit to play the Lions. As you can see by the map, The entire west coast, and most of the northern part of the state covered by this game. The Giants and Panthers take over much of the northeast and Texas, while Atlanta and Pittsburgh takes the rest. There are some gray spots for local areas with games on CBS. There will not be a FOX game in those areas.

Minnesotaās matchup with the Eagles obviously takes the majority of the country for the 4 p.m. time slot. While this will be the only game for the majority of the country, California will be lucky enough to get games on CBS and FOX. The state will split games between the 49ers-Cardinals matchup and the Rams-Seattle matchup.
Sunday Night Football will get a matchup of Texas as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Houston Texans. Both teams will look to keep momentum after wins this past week.
On Monday Night Football, the New Orleans Saints welcome the Washington Redskins to the Superdome.
