WHO TO START: MELVIN GORDON, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Melvin Gordon has racked up the yards in both the rushing and passing game. His 276 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 54 carries has helped pace this high-octane offense. Gordon isn’t a one-dimensional back. He also offers a lot of volume in the passing game. His 199 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 24 receptions rank second, first and third, respectively.

In Week 5 he gets a hot date with the Oakland Raiders’ 30th-ranked rush defense. Oakland finally managed its first win of the season under new head coach Jon Gruden, but has a tough task ahead of it on Sunday. Gordon doesn’t look to slow down as he has averaged 69 rushing yards on 13.5 carries per game, along with six receptions and 49.75 receiving yards per game.

WHO TO SIT: KAREEM HUNT, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Andy Reid will have to dial up all of those gadget and misdirection plays Sunday if he wants to lead his red-hot offense to a big home win against the top-ranked defense of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kareem Hunt has had a solid start to his sophomore campaign, but at times has fell victim to all the other weapons around him.

Hunt has managed 289 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 71 carries, and will look to not fall victim to the Jaguars 10th-ranked run defense. Hunt does provide some upside in the passing game with a total of four receptions for 59 receiving yards and one touchdown.

All of that won’t matter Sunday against Jacksonville who rank No. 1 against the pass. The Jaguars defense is nasty, only allowing 259.3 total yards, 164.3 passing yards, 95 rushing yards and a mere 14 points per game.
