WHO TO START: CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY,  CAROLINA PANTHERS

The Carolina Panthers have started their 2018 campaign red hot, only falling to Matt Ryan and his Falcons offense. Christian McCaffrey hasn’t been slowed down thus far compiling 428 total yards from scrimmage. On Sunday he looks to continue his great start against a New York Giants defense that ranks 29th against the rush.

Through four games this season McCaffrey has managed 90.33 rushing yards per game and 52.33 receiving yards per game, which both rank second, respectively. McCaffrey and his star quarterback Cam Newton will look to keep pounding on the ground and will their way to a big win at home coming off the bye week.

WHO TO SIT: CARLOS HYDE, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Carlos Hyde has been a very efficient runner thus far with his new team in Cleveland. In Week 5 he will go up against the vaunted Baltimore Ravens and their second-ranked defense. The Ravens rank fourth against the pass and rush, respectively. Hyde will have trouble finding a lot of running room against this stingy defense.

In Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders we saw the emergence of fellow back and teammate Nick Chubb, who had a breakout game with three carries for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Not that Chubb is a threat after one breakout game to Hyde’s share total, but the matchup simply isn’t the best.

The best solution is to start someone else if you can. If not, be prepared for a very low-scoring affair. The Ravens have only allowed 82.5 total rushing yards per game thus far. They show no signs of ruining that consistency Sunday.
