No. 8 Stephen Gostkowski vs Indianapolis

Kickers are people too. Gostkowski is one of the best kickers in league history and this matchup means big points in your league, at least for a kicker. Kickers unite and miss long and short but Gostkowski is 6-for-7 on the year.

Last week he wasn’t needed for anything but a simple chip shot but this classic matchup presents a solid showing for Gostkowski.

It feels weird discussing field goals given up as if that’s a bad thing. Indianapolis would be fine with the two-plus field goals in each of their first four games. Maybe that’s credit to the Indianapolis pass defense, which has been a surprise. The Colts will try to keep Edelman in check. He will be looking for a fast start after his suspension. Can the Colts force three-and-outs when the Patriots get near/in the Red Zone? You can bet Gostkowski will make the most of it.
