No. 5 Melvin Gordon vs. Oakland

Melvin Gordon continues to be so solid with production. One of the best, even quietest, and consistent players is pivotal for the Chargers offense. His touches have been consistent as well and he’s made the most of his balance from run to pass. In four games Gordon has had exactly 15 touches three times and had his best game on the ground in the win over San Francisco.

The pass game is just as important with Gordon who has five-plus catches in three of the four games. Gordon also has more receiving touchdowns so far in 2018 than rushing. Will that come into play against Oakland?

The Raiders pass defense has been less than stellar, giving up a touchdown through the air in three of the first four games including four to Ryan Tannehill. Jon Gruden is still looking to get pressure on the quarterback and in the backfield overall. Don’t count on them doing it on Sunday. Gordon should have a big day again.
