Jared Cook, Oakland Raiders – $4,800

In Week 4, Jared Cook led his Oakland Raiders in targets and catches, and only Amari Cooper managed more receiving yards. Cook had his best overall game of the season while scoring his first touchdowns of the year. Cook has quickly become one of Derek Carr’s favorite targets.

Cook surprisingly leads all tight ends in receiving yards and yards per game with 370 and 92.5, respectively. His two receiving touchdowns, 26 receptions and 35 targets per game places him second among tight ends. Cook has averaged 6.5 receptions per game and 8.75 targets per game, both also good for second at the position.

In Week 4, Cook caught eight of 13 targets for 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns, which turned into a very high-scoring affair, leaving the Raiders with the much-needed 45-42 overtime win. Jon Gruden’s first win in his return to the sidelines.

In Week 5, Cook will go up against a Los Angeles Chargers defense who rank 23rd overall and 21st against the pass. In Week 4, the Chargers let fellow tight end George Kittle get loose for a 82-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Through four games the Chargers defense ranks 24th overall, allowing 385 total yards, 275.8 passing yards, 109.3 rushing yards and a solid 30 points per game. Cook will find his way to a lot of open field Sunday afternoon in what should be a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair.

Prediction: 100 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 8 receptions
