The NFL is entering its second quarter of the regular season, and we’re starting to get a handle of which teams are capable of making it to January.

What should we expect out of these picks this week? Well, let’s hope we keep building off of last week’s choices where I went 10-5. Of course, using this bad boys to gamble is never a good idea, because the spread treats me like some tomato can against Mike Tyson.

Alright, let’s get after it. As always, all lines are courtesy of OddsShark.

Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots (-10)

It’s tough to see Indianapolis (1-3) having a reasonable chance to win this game come the fourth quarter. New England (2-2) is superior and perhaps finally hitting its stride. Once you factor in home field on a short week, it’s bad news for the Colts.

Pick: New England 32, Indianapolis 21

Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)

Does anybody punt? Does Pittsburgh (1-2-1) finally get its collective act together? Can Atlanta (1-3) get through one measly game without losing 19 starters to injury? Will Mike Tomlin’s head literally explode from steam after the Steelers take their 15th penalty of the afternoon before halftime? Who knows? Tune in!

Pick: Pittsburgh 45, Atlanta 44

Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Cleveland Browns

The Ravens (3-1) are legitimately good with a solid defense and Joe Flacco finding that deep-ball groove with John Brown. The Browns (1-2-1) have the talent to compete but the coach to make sure that good things don’t happen too often.

Pick: Baltimore 20, Cleveland 19

Denver Broncos at New York Jets (-1)

The Jets (1-3) are favored for reasons that make no sense. Denver (2-2) isn’t great, but it’s a decent team that has beaten the bad ones on the schedule. The Broncos should have beat Kansas City on Monday night as well. If the offense can do anything, it’ll be enough with that defense against Sam Darnold.

Pick: Denver 23, New York 20
