Here’s everything you’ll need to know to get ready for Wisconsin-Nebraska this weekend as the Badgers host a winless Cornhuskers team.

Up until a few weekends ago, the No. 16 Wisconsin Badgers were cruising right through their schedule, as many predicted that they would. That was until they had to tangle with the BYU Cougars. BYU beat Wisconsin in a physical game and sent the Badgers into a bye week with a loss and plenty of questions. They then responded by taking Iowa down on the road and returning to Madison set to host the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The Cornhuskers haven’t had as fun of a season so far. Despite the fact that Nebraska hired Scott Frost away from Central Florida, the Cornhuskers haven’t won a single game this year. Last week, during the weekend that was their homecoming, Nebraska lost to the Purdue Boilermakers by a score of 42-28. The closest games that Nebraska has in played so far were both five-point losses. Those losses came at the hands of Troy and Colorado.

While there has been a couple of close losses for Nebraska, there’s been a couple of B1G blowouts too. Michigan and that aforementioned Purdue game were dominant and far beyond what Nebraska could contend with.

This Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers are set to prove that they are too. The Badgers can’t afford to be looking ahead to Michigan, however. They’ve already slipped up once and losing to Nebraska would be a significantly worse loss than the one that they already have.

Prediction: If the Badgers want to prove that they really do deserve to be in the national conversation, then they can’t be upset by Nebraska this weekend. Given how poorly the Cornhuskers have played throughout the year so far, that shouldn’t be much of a real threat here. Expect Wisconsin to win. It’ll probably be closer than what many Wisconsin fans will feel comfortable with for most of the game, but this should be a solid victory at home.

Score: Wisconsin 34, Nebraska 20

The Cornhuskers will probably head down to face Northwestern in search of their first win next week. The Badgers will probably be in a position to battle Michigan for some B1G respect next week.  Go with Wisconsin to win here.
