3. Jacksonville Jaguars

Perhaps the best matchup on the docket for this weekend is the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs. In what is possibly a preview of the AFC Championship game, the Jaguars look to tear up a very bad Chiefs secondary. Although Blake Bortles and company will have a relatively easy day against the Chiefs defense, their own defense will have their biggest test of the year.

These teams haven’t faced off since 2016 when the Chiefs emerged victorious with a 19-14 victory. These teams are much different from their 2016 versions, and mostly for the better. The Jaguars defense has improved immensely with guys such as Jalen Ramsey and Calais Campbell. However, the Chiefs have one of the most electric offenses in the league led by young signal-caller Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill.

The sparks are already starting to fly in the media with the recent back-and-forth between Ramsey and Hill, who will likely line up against each other on Sunday. If it is already getting heated off the field, I can’t wait to see what happens on it.

A win over the undefeated Chiefs would be huge for the Jaguars in sealing the legitimacy of their team. Their odd loss to the Titans earned them some scrutiny, but that scrutiny will quickly be swept away with a win on Sunday.
