Bayern Munich faces Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, Oct. 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch online.

A little over a week ago, it looked like Bayern Munich were going to run away with their seventh straight Bundesliga title. The difference a week makes. Bayern drew with Augsburg and lost to Hertha Berlin to fall one point behind Borussia Dortmund. On Saturday, Bayern return to the Allianz Arena to play Borussia Monchengladbach. Dieter Hecking’s side have got off to a better than expected start, picking up 11 points in their first six games.

Bayern’s rough week continued on Tuesday when they allowed Ajax to come back and steal a point from them in Champions League action. The poor string of games has put some pressure on manager Niko Kovac for the first time in his tenure with the club. Part of the problem that Bayern have had, is their lack of squad depth. With Rafinha injured, Kovac has not been able to rest Joshua Kimmich and David Alaba. With Bayern playing four games since Sept. 22, the lack of rest has hurt Bayern, especially at the back where mistakes have cost them points.

Gladbach drew 2-2 with Wolfsburg in their last game. While Monchengladbach have been excellent at home, winning all three games, they have struggled away from Borussia-Park. In their three away games, Gladbach have conceded seven goals. The center-back pairing of Nico Elvedi and Matthias Ginter will have to play better if they are going to slow down Bayern’s lethal attack. When in possession of the ball, Gladbach will try to get the ball to Thorgan Hazard and Alassane Plea. Hazard has continued to get better every season with the Foals and has already scored three goals this season. Plea was the club’s big summer signing, arriving from Nice. The French striker has had a strong start to the season, scoring four goals.

Borussia Monchengladbach were able to beat Bayern 2-1 in their first meeting last season. However, Bayern came back in the reverse fixture and smashed Gladbach 5-1.
