Burnley face Huddersfield at Turf Moor on Saturday, Oct. 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After a surprising season last year, Burnley have come back to earth. The Clarets have picked up seven points in their first seven games. On Saturday, Burnley host Huddersfield at Turf Moor. The Terriers have struggled to start the season, picking up only two points. Despite there being 31 games to play, Huddersfield look like they will be fighting for their Premier League survival this season.

Burnley finished seventh last season, largely because they conceded only 39 goals. The Clarets have got off to a slow start this season because they have already allowed 11 goals in seven games. After picking up only one point in their first five games, Burnley have won two straight games. The Clarets beat Cardiff 2-1 last weekend with Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Sam Vokes scoring. Gudmundsson has had a strong season for Burnley, adding three assists this season. The Iceland international will likely play a large role on Saturday against Huddersfield.

Huddersfield lost their third straight game last weekend, losing 2-0 to Tottenham. The Terriers are in serious trouble as they struggle to score goals and cannot keep the ball out of their own net. Huddersfield are going to have to get better at both ends of the field if they have any hope of staying up. The Terriers have scored only three goals this seasons and allowed 16 goals in seven games. Steve Mounie and Laurent Depoitre combined for 13 goals last season. However, neither player has found the back of the net this year. Manager David Wagner is hoping that both players rediscover their scoring touch soon, or he could be out of a job.

Both games between Burnley and Huddersfield ended in scoreless draws last season. The draws ended Burnley’s three-game winning streak. However, prior to Burnley winning three straight, Huddersfield won three straight games.
